Melissa Chandler
I grew up in Dallas in a non-believing home. I met Jesus my freshman year of high school at Windy Gap Young Life camp – literally the best week of my life. My YL leader remains one of my spiritual heroes because he loved me through my “turdy” phases and kept on showing me who Jesus is and modeling Christ’s unconditional love and grace. Pretty sure I was called to minister God’s love to folks ever since I became a believer; more recently, though, I quit teaching after 24 years and now God has given me this sweet opportunity to minister to His women in Frisco at a local church.
My husband, Guy, and I married in 1993 and have 4 young adult kids and a precious princess of a grand-girl. We all love the mountains and we also like to make and try all sorts of food together. Please pray for the people who are hiding God's word in their hearts as you read this!
